Guided Meditation for Sadness
It's natural to want to feel better when we feel sad. But sometimes the fastest way to feel better is to simply allow ourselves to be with the emotion of sadness in our bodies. This tender mindfulness meditation will help you hold yourself in your sadness, take a breath, and, perhaps, let go.
Listening to the Wisdom of Chronic Pain
Chronic pain isn't always telling us that something is wrong, necessarily, but it is telling us something. When we can tune into the pain, listen to it, and care for it, even ask it questions, we may be able to learn something about how to care for our bodies and what our bodies need.
Simple Mindfulness Meditation
This is a simple mindfulness meditation that focuses on the body. The practice here is to simply notice what's happening in the body and the mind while gently moving away from judgment or analysis. This is an excellent practice for stress management, calming the mind, and emotional regulation. It can be done in any comfortable position, including lying down (or even walking). It can be helpful to do right before bed. It's for anyone who is reasonably comfortable paying attention to body sensations for a little while, including total beginners.
